Review by hotel critic
As a travel consultant from the Maldives, I recently spent a delightful family vacation at the Sunstar. The property truly impresses with its stunning views and well-appointed accommodations. What stood out most for us was the family-friendly atmosphere. My kids enjoyed the inviting pool, making it a perfect spot for some fun under the sun. We also took a fantastic truffle-hunting course nearby, which was an educational and interactive experience for the whole family. Dining at the hotel was enjoyable. With the dinner options reflecting the culinary charm of Piedmont, we explored various dishes that pleased everyone's palate, though nothing too extravagant. The staff were particularly welcoming, with the Swiss manager ensuring that we felt right at home. The Columbian sommelier added his charm to our evenings, making the dining experience even more engaging. For golf enthusiasts, the three nearby 18-hole courses offered remarkable settings. The Sunstar is a solid choice for families looking for a mix of relaxation and activities. We left with wonderful memories, making it a vacation well spent.
